Child Care contracts are offered by Hundred Acre Play Care for a full school year period. Each contract begins in late August and runs through early/mid- June. Families must renew their care contract with us annually.
Enrollment Process
Our wait list does not function as an ordered list of which child will enroll with us next. Our program is small and openings do not happen frequently- because of this and the fact that so many other changes occur in family lives and care needs, our wait list is a priority notification list.
When child care openings become available, they are offered to families in the following order:

Children currently enrolled/attending in our school year program

Siblings of currently enrolled school year families

Families that have been enrolled at HAPC in the past (alumni, summer enrichment, etc.)
If the opening remains available, in person Meet & Greet interviews will be offered to:

All Families with a complete application on our wait list (via email)

General Public & Child Care Referral Agencies
The best way to enroll with us is to get on the wait list- if possible, with a flexible start date and care schedule- there is never a fee to join or stay on our list. Openings are most frequent in early spring (after our current families complete the annual enrollment process) and have August start dates.
New families must visit our program in person to begin the enrollment process. Meet and Greets are offered on select evenings- usually 4:45pm Mondays-Thursdays- ONLY when there are currently available spaces. The meet and greet is a time for all parents/guardians to visit us with their child and learn more about our program and/or ask questions.
The goal of the meet and greet is for everyone involved to determine if this child & program pairing will fit the needs of the child, family, and other children in our group. For high demand spaces, it is not unusual for multiple families to meet and greet about the same space. In this case, the space will be offered by Ms. Sarah to one family after all meet and greets have concluded.
Families offered a space at Hundred Acre Play Care are required to return a complete contract and enrollment fees to reserve their space.
